Transfers
On arrival at Gardermoen, Oslo, clients will be met by an NWT representative who will be identifiable by a NWT name board.
Lillehammer Valley transfers
For the transfer of clients from Oslo Gardermoen to Lillehammer resorts, we use the high standard NSB railway. The train is smooth, efficient and nearly always on time. The journey takes 2 hours through breathtaking scenery and follows the banks of Norway’s largest lake, lake Mjosa.
On arrival at Lillehammer station clients are then met by NWT representatives and taken by mini bus to the accommodation at their chosen resort. The journey to Hafjell takes 10 to 15 Minutes depending on their accommodation.
If clients have chosen to stay in one of the other nearby resorts this can take between 30 minutes to 1 hour (these transfer details will be sent with your quote).
Trysil transfers
For the transfer of clients from Oslo Gardermoen to Trysil, we use the Trysil expressen coach. This journey follows part of Norway's longest lake Mjosa before heading east for Trysil. The journey will take 2hrs 30 mins and the coach stops directly outside customer's accommodation when possible.
When possible NWT reps will be on hand in resort, but when that's not possible clients will be given a telephone number on which they can contact a rep 24 hours a day.
All transfers quoted to sales agents will include return journeys to Oslo Gardermoen airport. If clients choose a budget airline, NWT will organise public transport to Oslo Gardermoen airport to meet our representative, who will then organise their resort transfer.
Please be aware that Oslo Torp to Gardermoen is a 2-hour train journey, making it at least 4 hours 30 minutes to resort. Oslo Rygge to Gardermoen is 1 hour 30 minutes making the journey to resort at least 4 hours.
Also, late Ryanair flight arrivals sometimes result in passengers staying overnight in airport as budget flights sometimes miss the last public transport from the airport.
All clients must be advised that all transfers will be by road or rail.
