DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL

Upon arrival at Hanoi Airport, after collecting your baggage, exit the airport to meet your local guide. He/she will be holding a sign with your names on it. From the airport, you will be privately transferred to your selected hotel. You are free at your leisure in the rest of day. Relaxing at hotel or walking around Hanoi Old Quarter – a network of narrow alleys and shop houses. Hanoi Old Quarter is consider a great place to watch local life and shopping.

DAY 2: HANOI – TRANG AN LANDSCAPE COMPLEX – HANOI

8.00 Depart to Ninh Binh province about 100km to the Southeast of Hanoi Capital. Arrive in Ninh Binh around 10.30 am, transferred to Trang An Pier, visit the first World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site in Viet Nam recognized by UNESCO. Take a boat trip to explore the cave complex in Trang An . Enjoy peaceful moments with clear water, fresh air and spectacular views of mountainous areas. Trang An Landscape Complex is a spectacular landscape of limestone karst peaks permeated with valleys, many of them partly submerged and surrounded by steep, almost vertical cliffs.
Trang An Landscape Complex was chosen as film location of Hollywood blockbuster in 2017 “Kong: Skull Island”. Have lunch at restaurant.
In the afternoon, on the way back Hanoi, we stop at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. The mountains and sea combined to make Hoa Lu’s picturesque landscape. Hoa Lu lays in a flat valley surrounded by the Trang An lime stone mountains, which form a natural wall protecting the old citadel. The city’s northwest is bordered by the Hoang Long River, the tributaries of which run through the capital, cooling the weather within the city and serving as convenient waterways. The relics of the ancient capital of Vietnam during 10th century. Remains of this capital town are temples dedicated to the two heroes: Dinh King and Le King who were the founders of Hoa Lu as the citadel. Though the temples have been damaged from time to time, some precious antiques are still well preserved such as whole-stone dragon thrones; wooden has-relieves and lacquered statues of the Kings and the Queen Duong Van Nga (who in turn got married to both of the Kings). You will return back to the hotel in Hanoi in the late afternoon, you will be at leisure in the evening.

DAY 3: HANOI – SAPA – TRIBAL VILLAGE / DRIVING

Have breakfast at hotel, depart to Sapa around 7.30 am through Lao Cai highway enjoy beautiful scenery on the road.
12.00: Arrive in Lao Cai, have lunch at local restaurant.
14.00: Start the trip to Cat Cat Village of Black H’Mong tribe. We relax at the foot of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Then next 6 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain – “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before trekking back to Sapa town. Check in hotel and free at your leisure in the evening.

DAY 4: LAO CHAI – TA VAN VILLAGE – FANXIPAN MOUNTAIN -HANOI / DRIVING

After get nice breakfast at hotel. Take 20-minute drive takes you to Muong Hoa valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in northwest Vietnam. Descending into the valley by foot, you will see the largest terraced paddy of Sapa (If the tour taken in May or October, the view of rice & vegetables in harvest is outstanding). A short walk takes you from Lao Chai village of the Black H’mong minority to Ta Van village of the Giay minority, enjoying the chance to see the different traditions and costumes of these two ethnic minority groups. Back Sapa town for lunch.
After lunch, transfer to Fansipan Cable Station for an amazing trip to reach the Indochina Roof, 3143m above the sea level: Starting by cable car and step up to the Peak, enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful landscapes from the high.
Return to the Station and depart to Hanoi, arrive in Hanoi around 21.30, stay overnight at hotel .

DAY 5: HANOI – HALONG BAY / OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE

After breakfast, travel by air-conditioned private through the Red River Delta to beautiful Ha Long Bay. The scenic drive will pass through some of the rural landscape before arriving to the World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay. A Bay with more than 3000 islands, which time, wind and waves have sculptured into fantastic shapes.

Upon arrival, you will set out on a junk cruise on the bay while lunch is served. You will pass through the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. After lunch, you will take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay, swimming on a quiet beach or sunbathing on the sundeck. In the late afternoon, you will visit an interesting fishing village with an opportunity to interact with fishermen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. At sunset, you can kayak or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board, you can enjoy watching the peaceful sunset and later unwind at a restaurant. You will stay overnight onboard.

DAY 6: HALONG BAY – HANOI

Rising to the sound of lapping bay waters, you will have time for an early morning dip followed by breakfast. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax while taking in the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay. After breakfast, explore Sung Sot cave (8 a.m. to 9 a.m.), swim and relax at Soi Sim beach. At 9:30 a.m., your boat cruises back to the jetty while brunch is served from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. You will continue cruising through the bay, along the way seeing more of the fascinating formations. Cabin check-out is at 11:45 am. The boat arrives at the harbor around noon.

Those who book kayaking trip start kayaking from Luon Cave toward islets in shape of Man’s head island, Tortoise island (kayaking time after breakfast). Lunch included. Back Hanoi by private car, transfer to Thang Long Opera Theatre with a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. Drop you at hotel.

DAY 7: HANOI CITY TOUR – HUE/ EVENING FLIGHT

Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi

Morning, start a full day city tour beginning with Ho Chi Minh Complex which features the life of Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s founder. At the complex, visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the nation’s founder’s body is preserved (closed on Monday, Friday and through October – November) and the rural style house on stilts where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked. Stop by one of Hanoi’s icons, the One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th Century in dedication to Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara or Buddha of Compassion and reminiscent of a lotus blossom rising from a pond. Continue to Museum of Ethnology where contain more than 10,000 objects, 15,000 black and white photos and hundreds of video tapes and cassettes which depict all aspects of life, activities, customs, and habits of the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam, it is largest and undoubtedly the most interesting Museums in Hanoi and Vietnam. Have lunch at restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit Temple of Literature, originally built in honour of Confucius by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong in 1070, a university was added to the grounds six years later. The university provided education to the royal family and children of the aristocracy or “mandarins”. The University remained here until Emperor Gia Long moved the countries administrative capital from Hanoi to Hue in the 18th century. Go to Hoan Kiem Lake, the center point of Hanoi whose name meaning “The Return Sword Lake” originated from a legend of a sacred sword and home to a rare endangered giant turtle species and visit Ngoc Son Temple on the lake. Next, take a one-hour xichlo (3-wheeled rickshaw) tour of the Old Quarter of Hanoi with its ancient streets representing traditional trades from the past. Transfer to Noi Bai airport for domestic flight to Hue. Upon arrival in Hue airport, local guide welcome you and takes you to hotel for check in.

DAY 8: HUE CITY TOUR

Emperor Khai Dinh Tomb, Hue, Vietnam

Morning visit the Hue Citadel – Vietnam’s former imperial capital and a recognized UNESCO World Heritage site. With an area of 500ha and a system of three circles of ramparts, this citadel is far more elaborate than those constructed by previous empires. Stop at Khai Dinh tomb is the place where the emperor Khai Dinh (1885-1925), the 12th king of the Nguyen dynasty rests in peace.The construction of the tomb was started on 1920 and lasted for 11 years. The architecture of this tomb is the most criticized of all the tombs of the Nguyen dynasty and Tu Duc Tomb is one of the most beautiful tombs of royal architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty. The tomb is far about 8 kilometers form the Hue and lies near the pine forest. Coming to Tu Duc Tomb, you may feel like you’re lost in a huge scenery park, where the old monuments of old feudal time are harmoniously in tune with the natural atmosphere.
After lunch (included), continue your tour with a boat cruise along the Perfume River. Enjoy this romantic cruise and visit the Minh Mang Tomb. Finish up at Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest ancient architectural structures for religious worship in Hue. Stop at Dong Ba market for shopping.

DAY 9: HUE – HOI AN

Hoi An – Ancient Town

After breakfast at hotel, depart to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass (Ocean Cloud Pass). Enjoy a stunning headland-and-bay panoramic view from high above the pass, which for miles hugs the mountainside along the shoreline and overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Stop in Da Nang for visiting Cham Museum where the remaining evidence of the Champa civilization can be viewed. Have lunch at restaurant in Hoi An. You are free at leisure for relaxing and discover Hoi An town in the afternoon.

DAY 10: HOI AN ACIENT TOWN

Morning, our guide meet you at the hotel in Hoian then transfer out for a city tour to visit the ancient architecture of Hoian – a fascinating combination of Vietnamese traditional characters with Chinese and Japanese influence. There are plenty to see in this delightful town, some of which are the famous Japanese Covered Bridges; the Pottery Museum; the 200-year-old Tamky House; the Chua Ong Pagoda; the vibrant market. Lunch then enjoy a boat trip on the Thu Bon River, which also gives you a chance to admire the spectacular countryside and explore a handicraft ceramic village and boat building yards.

DAY 11: HOI AN – DA NANG – HO CHI MINH / FLIGHT

Have breakfast at hotel and private vehicle transferred to Da Nang airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Upon arrival in Tan Son Nhat, local guide welcome you and takes you to hotel.

Take half day city tour with famous sightseeing as War Remnants Museum, established in September 1975 in Ho Chi Minh City, it contains countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting some of the less heroic activities carried out by the US army in Vietnam. Planes, tanks, bombs and helicopters are also on display. Continue visiting to the 1880’s General Post Office and the late 19th century Notre Dame cathedral, located in a peaceful part of the city. Ending at Ben Thanh Market or House of Saigon for shopping and café.

DAY 12: CU CHI TUNNEL HALF DAY

Cu Chi Tunnels Tour and Hidden Ho Chi Minh City

Morning visit Cu Chi tunnels, “the Iron Triangle” as its nickname during Vietnam War 1955 – 1975. 55km Northwest from the city center, this was the former battlefield between Vietcong VC with American troops, also the shelter for VC guerillas from American attack and bombing. Try crawling in one part of this 31km underground tunnels, visiting the underground school, kitchen, hospital, meeting halls, dining rooms, guarding points and ammunition display which VC used during the War. Free shooting by AK47 riffle (paid by yourselves) in Free Target Zone, a chance to act like a VC ! Enjoy lunch ( Paid by your own) in Cu Chi then transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city. Free at your leisure in the afternoon for shopping.

DAY 13: FULL DAY MEKONG DELTA ( BEN TRE)

8.30 : depart to Ben Tre, it takes 2 hour by private vehicle. On arrival in Hàm Luông Pier (Bến Tre town). Take a boat on Bến Tre river – one of tributaries of Mekong river, Sight-seeing lively activities along river as fishing,water transfering. Stop at brickwork to see how to make bricks in handy traditional style by printing and baking. Visite one of plenty of coconut processing workshops located along canal. Turn on natural scissors creeks where they look smaller and smaller to go to village. Take a walk to family workshop making sleepmats and enjoying some fruits and tea.

Take a motor cart (xe lôi) or bike on shady paths, pass by green rice fields and vegetable plains to be able to touch on realy life and find out about tropical culture from Peasants. Lunch at restaurant riverside.

Afternoon – Take rowing-boat along water palm creek. and boat back to Hàm luông Pier. Enjoy dinner at restaurant. You are free at yourleisure in the everning. Discover Ho Chi Minh city by night.

DAY 14: HO CHI MINH – MUI NE / 5 HOURS DRIVING

This morning you will depart Ho Chi Minh City for the four hour journey to Mui Ne. You will enjoy a stop en route for a coffee break and a visit to a local farm where dragon fruit, the specialty of the area, is grown. Here you can chat with the farmers and try some of this wonderful fruit.

You will arrive in Mui Ne in the middle day and check in to your hotel. The rest of the day for relaxing.

DAY 15: MUI NE BEACH – RELAXING

DAY 16: MUI NE FREE & EASY

In the morning, you are free for swimming or rent bike to discover Mui Ne by cycling.

Our jeep pick you up at hotel and depart Fairy Stream where the small stream running through the middle of the red sand dunes. It is like a mini version of Red Canyon. Then you are trasffered to White Sand Dune – is the most outstanding sandy hills in Binh Thuan in particular and Vietnam in general, it is about 20 km from Phan Thiet city. Continue move to Red Sand Dune, coming to Red Sand Dunes, you have a chance to admire this “natural wonder” which changes day by day and hour by hour in the harmony with beautiful sunlight. Red Sand Dunes in Mui Ne are so special. The color of sand changes constantly from yellow to white, pink and red, depending on the sunlight. On the way back hotel, the jeep stop at fishing village. observing the daily lives of fishermen, catch is hauled to shore and fishing boats are lining up. Drop you at hotel.
